Haven't used it for that yet, but a friend used it to jump start his car a few times until he got a new battery. No problem with that. I also used it to power my hedge trimmer. This works great for jump starting cars and boats! Customer Rating: Summary: Very Powerful!!! Comment: Runs my telescope, camera, & computer all night with radio with an occasional burst from a hair dryer for the dew removal. The 600HD will go for a few nights b4 I have to recharge. Recharge is far shorter than 35hours as directions say. Light is not very useful due to it's angle but is VERY bright. I like to monitor the power especially when doing long exposure fotos and it seems to go down pretty quickly but after it rests for a while, it climbs back closer to 100%!!!
