Useless since can't jumpstart a car, just uselesss period!! AC charge is 16 to 24 hours, car 12V charge is 3 hours before use from lighter socket. Any real runtime for smallest of appliances only. It did not take as long to charge as other reviewers indicated, and had no problems using AC, Solar or DC(car) methods of recharging. I operated everything from inflatable bed pumps to portable DVD players and tent fans, and even re-charged two phones and a DVD player after a night of use. If you are a camper and are not expecting to be able to power your home appliances on road trips you might just be as satisfied as I am.
