Customer Rating: Summary: terrific Comment: I am very pleased with this product. First I got it quickly and it was very safely packed. But most important it worked exactly as it should. I placed the tip of the siphon cylinder in the patio fountain that needed draining, anchored the open end of the plastic tube below the bottom of the fountain with a brick, and pulled the handle all the way to the top. The water started to drain immediately. There was a bit of air in the flow, easily seen through the clear tube, so I pumped down then back up all the way and the water filled the tube completely. I then set the siphon carefully down and walked away. Thirty-something minutes later the fountain only had a quarter-inch of water left. I'm very pleased. I won't use this more than every month or two, but the siphon seems reasonably sturdy and I believe it will last me for years.
