It paid for itself on the second use and saved me a lot of time as well. It would be even better if it were compatible with the O2 sensors on my truck. Customer Rating: Summary: CP9180 Review Comment: As a home mechanic I needed to understand what the 'Check Engine Light' was trying to tell me. In my newer car this meant I needed a Code Scanner. I never take anything to the Dealer as I'd much rather do the work myself and spend the money on tools. At least I get something tangible for my money and I know the work is done well. I found 'Actron' mentioned in a few disserent message boards around the net so I decided to research them.
I found they offered a wide range of scanners so decided to call them to ask which one would fit my needed. Seems the CP9180 was it and WELL worth the money.
So if you're like me and can respect a good tool, don't hisitate and purchse this device.
