Customer Rating: Summary: Equis 3030 Comment: Great value. Paid for itself the first time I used it. I only had to buy a fuse rather than an oxygen sensor thanks to this produect. Customer Rating: Summary: It Works Comment: The Equus 3030 OBD II did what it's supposed to do. It gave me 2 problem codes on a Mazda MPV. I am not a mechanic so the P---- explanations on the manual have to be presented to your repair shop. It seems the problem is the catalytic converter or the oxygen sensor. The vehicle is 8 years old. Hopefully that is the only problem. I tested it on a car that has no "check engine" light on and it gave me nothing.

4 stars because I do not know how reliable this product is. Maybe after 10 years and I'm still using it, I'd come to this review and add another star. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Unit to use Comment: I bought this unit a couple of months ago because my 2006 Miata MX5 had a recurrent check engine light that kept turning out to be a gas cap problem. Since I live almost 40 miles from the dealer I decided to reset the computer myself. It worked perfectly. I have also used it on a 2002 Tahoe and a 2004 Silverado diesel. It also came in handy when my daughter wanted to buy a used 2005 Tahoe and the unit showed that fuse was blown which the dealer promptly replaced.
