Summary: wonderful product, will use again in the future
Comment: This is a wonderful product. Very easy to use, and it repaired a bullseye chip in my windshield MUCH BETTER than professional repairs performed twice in the past by Safelite--and at a fraction of the cost. There is also plenty of resin to perform future repairs. I highly recommend applying heat on the inside of the windshield to help facilitate the filling of the crack. The entire repair took about 40 minutes (done at a very leisurely pace), and the results are identical to the before and after photos on the package.

Summary: Great product..almost
Comment: A street light cover had fallen and caused several chips and one small star crack in my windshield, so in the category of cheap fixes from brand names, this fit the bill. So I got it in yesterday and applied it today.
For the chips it was easy to just push the resin bottle against the chip and squeeze a drop into it and put on a curing sheet.
For the crack, I followed the instructions but was not able to get the whole crack filled, possibly because the pit that caused the crack was so small it wasn't letting in the resin, or I was not able to get it lined up precisely to get it all in.
Overall I am very happy. Easily fixes the annoying chips and I am confident that, if enough time is taken, cracks can be filled.

Summary: Worked really well
Comment: This product worked incredibly well to fix a star crack in my windshield. It took only 10 minutes and the crack is completely invisible now. I had another crack fixed a year earlier by a service and they did a very bad job. They just put some of the resin in the crack, but did not force it in. It looks like they did almost nothing compared to how well I fixed the second crack using fix-a-windshield. I highly recommend this product and it's available at walmart.

Summary: Works as Promised
Comment: In the past, I have used Locktite's product, but was not overly impressed. Even though the Fix-a-Windshield product primarily is designed for chips and not cracks, it worked pretty well on a 7-inch crack in my windshield. Basically, I followed the instructions for fixing cracks, but made sure that I used the injector device for the original impact point and at the end of the crack. Fix-a-Windshield is not perfect -- the crack is still visible, but it is easy to use and works well. Previous cracks of about the same size have tended to spread, but this one seems to be stable. Is that attributable to this product? Well, there's no way that I can know for sure, but I'm happy to give Fix-a-Windshield credit.

Summary: Excellent product...still working since 2006!!!
Comment: I purchased and used this item since July 2006 to fix a star-burst on my windscreen. Back in 2006, there was no-one in my area who repaired windscreens. The same day I ordered this kit, the star-burst expanded to a 7-inch crack! (I rolled my windows all the way up, and left the car in the sun.) When I got the kit, I applied it (after reading, and re-reading the instructions). I was happy then, and now 2 years later I am still happy and a bit surprised. To be honest, I really didn't expect that repair to hold this long. The crack has not expanded. I saved a lot of money by not having to replace my windscreen. Since then, I have used up all of the resin repairing little nicks/chips that come with driving.
This kit is an excellent product. It would have been great if the manufacturer sold the resin separately as well. I still have all the other components of my first kit (except resin), but I now have to purchase another kit to repair a crack on my husband's vehicle.
