Customer Rating: Summary: Worked great! Comment: Just got back from a 5-day off road trip in Northern Arizona. Tons of dust and lots of mud splashed around the engine bay. The filter wrap was cover in the fine dust, and had clumps of mud stuck to it. I pulled the wrap and my filter was mud free and had a lot less dirt on it. This means I'll have to clean and oil the K&N filter less often. I hosed off the wrap, let it dry and threw it back on. Installation couldn't be easier as it is elastic and you jut stretch it over the filter. Absolutely worth the money. i was going to make like a small block in front of the grill and then found this.
it is by far the simplest way to protect your filter from water and any heavy dirt.
i have barely noticed a performance down with the wrap and HIGHLY recommend it if your worried the filter is getting wet
