But - I am not a scientist, and I honestly cannot say that I can tell any difference from the stock air filter.
If your looking for performace, spend the extra and get the cold air intake kit. If your looking for a high quality replacement, then your looking at the right product.
FYI - this was for a 2004 Acura TL. I did notice that this replacement was about 1/3 of the depth of the factory one. I don't know if this will be a benefit - allowing more air flow; or if it will hurt the filter by clogging faster since the "fins" aren't as large.
