Customer Rating: Summary: Great little parking aid Comment: This is a great little product. I just got it from my girlfriend for Christmas. It installed in less than 10 min, had to take the time to find the right spot to line it up with in the car. I'm not sure what the instructions said about mounting because it seemed like a no brainer. I see people said their's fell off the side of the opener when the glue gave out. I never even thought about the side of the opener, the top of mine is flat and near the bulb. I mounted it on top, off center from the bulb, so it will turn on, but still allow the heat from the bulb to rise past. I ran the laser up to a 2x6 over my car, and lined it up with a sopt on the center of my dash. The laser is a little hard to see at first, but you get to know what you are looking for. Also to make it a little easier to see, I stuck a tip on it from an old laser pointer. It was used to make different shapes. I now have a flashing UFO on my dash. I can mix it up with a dog, star, or heart also. Have already pulled in and out of the garage 10 times, to go to the store, and to check it out. Really cool gift. Best present ever. Simple to install in 2-3 minutes.
The only issue I have had is that the adhesive to stick unit to garage opener will not stay attached.

If I pull in too far, I have to squeeze between the front of the truck and the front garage wall to get to the door to the house. If I don't pull in far enough, the garage door will hit the truck bumper or the tow hitch on the back of the truck and go back up.
This cool little gadget has taken care of that. I can stop my truck exactly where I want it every time now and can close the garage door without worrying about the back bumper of the truck AND walk straight between the front of the truck and the front wall of the garage to get to the door to my house with out having to turn sideways and squeeze between the truck and the wall.
I installed it in 15 minutes with out any tools (I used map pins to attach the laser beam module to the garage ceiling because it is very light weight.) and the beam works every time the garage door opener light comes on.
I would recommend this product.
