Customer Rating: Summary: hope I never need it Comment: I hope I never need this item. However, I am glad I have it. I bought it because I saw it reviewed on television and decided it was worth it to have this item on hand. Customer Rating: Summary: Peace of mind. Comment: We have three of these handy little devices. Hopefully we will never ever have to use one of them, but it gives some peace of mind having them available. When we received our first one (we only bought one to start with), we took it to a local junk yard (they guy who owns it likes my friend and me) and he let us test it on several trashed out cars. The hammer works perfectly and can take a side or rear window out in a flash and the cutting end works great on seatbelts. Actually, it was sort of fun breaking out windows, something I have not done in years. Anyway, it worked well, so we bought one for both my cars and my friend bought one for hers. I would buy one for my sister, but she would spend twenty minutes trying to figure out which end to use on the window, and by then it would probably be too late. This is one of those things you hope you will never need, but if you do need it, it is sure nice to know it is there and that it actually works.
