Customer Rating: Summary: A bit slow to heat up Comment: I've seen some reviews on here stating that the iron never gets hot enough to do any soldering for electronic parts. Well I didn't find that to be the case. The problem the others had was they probably didn't wait long enough. It takes quite a few minutes to heat up enough for soldering, but it does get there eventually. I think it's a good value for the iron, the holder/base with "helping hands" and the variety of attacments.
