Editorial Reviews:

If your watch band needs adjusting, this is your tool! This handy tool will make shortening and adding links to your band a snap. This easy to use unit includes band remover and 3 extra pins 0.80 and 1.00mm.

Summary: Watch band pin remover
Comment: This little gadget works great for removing the pins. Advice: make sure you have the correct size pin. If the pin you use is too small it will bend and break.

Summary: works fine, watch the arrows on your band though
Comment: You need to push the pins out in the same direction as the arrows on your watchband. Also, don't go in really far or you'll snap the pushpin off.It worked great though. Might as well get it when you buy a watch off of here. Then when your watch arrives you can adjust the band yourself.

Summary: This is a specialized tool and well worth the price.
Comment: I needed this for a Seiko watch and it worked unlike the paperclip method I tried. You might need this depending on your watch type. Just remember to push the pin out in the direction of the arrow. I did it in mid-air with my left hand holding the watch down onto it and my right hand turning the dial to screw the pin. The pin from my watch band came out easily because it was mostly straight except for the opposite end which had the forks. To put it back in, I just had to reinsert it back into the clasp (in the reverse direction it came out) and press it down on a hard surface to get the forked end to disappear completely into the hole. If your watch has different pin types, then you might need to use this device to reinsert as well. Watch band was resized with no scratches!

Summary: heavey duty
Comment: this is a very heavy duty tool some of the other tool like this are very thin & you use them once or twice & they break this one will last a lifetime very very good product. I'm glad I bought this item.

Summary: Overkill for simple pin removal; doesn't work for all watch bands.
Comment: Item was well made and is indeed capable of compressing a watch pin to allow adjustment. However, I also tried a roller tip pen tip to compress the spring pin and found it was easier and faster to use. At least on my watch, the major adjustment in band length is not through moving the pin a notch or two, but rather in removing (or adding) links to the band. This adjustment requires a completely different tool to bend open and then close the adjustable steel links.
