Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great tool Comment: A must for owners of late model GMC/Chevy pick-ups. The extra length is needed to adjust the headlights. The ability to change bits further adds a benefit to the use of the product. Customer Rating: Summary: Unique design Comment: I purchased this screwdriver for working around server racks at work. The extendable design has already come in handy multiple times.
It is a little hard to tell from the picture, but in the standard configuration the screwdriver is normal length. The shaft can then be pulled out to varying lengths. The shaft has proven sturdy enough to tighten or loosen every screw I have used it on while fully extended.
A second small feature is that the bit holder spins freely around the shaft. I have found myself holding the holder with one hand while turning the handle with the other. It provides a little more stability than a single hand.

To the one detractor... of course this isn't a "pro" level tool. It's $12 on Amazon instead of $50-75 on a tool truck.
I'm confident that everyone else will be more than happy with the quality of the tool, which is appropriate to its price.
Customer Rating: Summary: For the money? Excellent Comment: Magnetic, extension, ratcheting and fixed, grippy handle, all for under 10 bucks. You won't find anything this good for that kind of money. For the previous reviewer who complains about it holding bits, I disagree. It is designed so that the magnet slides forward to work as a magnetic pickup and to allow the tip to slide out and easily by replaced. I found no real issues with a tip falling off once you understand why it does this. Excellent tool that got a bad rap from an overly full of themself reviewer. Nice how you decided to insult anyone that likes the tool ahead of time. Customer Rating: Summary: What? Ignore the other reviewer. Apparently no clue... Comment: Normally I would never disparage another reviewer but the first negative one star review is completely inaccurate. This is a well made, well thought out tool. Solid, good ergonomics, versatile and has the build quality that would have it do well with anything but line assembly or fine technical work. I own Xcelite, Klein and Proto tools. I have a triple cabinet full of Snap On in the garage. All serve specific purposes in my technically oriented profession. That being said, I have 4 of these drivers and reach for them often. For the money, you will not be sorry with any of these SmartPro tools. Customer Rating: Summary: homeowner tool only Comment: This tool is not the pro grade I expected it to be. It may be adequate for homeowners but is not made nor engineered well enough for pros. Sloppy tolerances make it useless for precision work, so it is more of a nuisance than anything else so I threw it the bottom of my tool box, never to be used again. The magnetic bit holder is so weak it allows bits to fall out during work, but it is strong enough to attract metal filings that have to be removed constantly before a bit can be connected. The engineering is poor and construction is worse. Improvements are needed before this"tool" will be anything but junk. The main thing is to build it better! Anyone liking this tool is real easily pleased or works for the company.
