Summary: Great tool for annoying "Check Engine Light!!"
Comment: This scanner works fast and anyone could use it. I've had problems with my gas cap not sealing and then the Check Engine Light comes on. It's saved me hundreds of $$ in scanning fees from dealers and helped me have piece of mind when that idiot light comes on. I carry it in the trunk and have helped others with their problems. By the way I cured my leaking emission fault. "Gas Cap" By lubing the O-Ring on the gas cap with a very small amount of grease.

Summary: The perfect diagnostic scanner
Comment: I drive a 1 ton truck professionally - a 2006 Ford F-350 - pulling RV's from manufacturer to dealer. When I get an MIL code, I can't wait to go into a dealer and pay $100 to see what the problem is. I bought the Car MD scanner originally, and it has a computer interface to explore the code and the fix, but it is marginal at best.
I have not used the computer interface on this scanner yet - I will soon - but I love the explanation it gives on the larger screen, and I also love the fact that I can erase the code from the truck's computer.
A great buy!!

Comment: After much searching and comparing prices, once again Amazon came through with the best price. They even bettered my local brick and mortar shops.
The Equus 3110 ? Just about the nicest for the cost. It is so feature packed, it will carry you into the next phase of OBDII systems. Unlike the latest computer system, that once you buy it, it is outdated as soon as you turn it on.

Comment: Works well, but it needs a usb connection. Had to buy an adapter to make it work with my laptop.
