Then, I grabbed it to support my head one day while taking a nap on the couch and discovered what a great nap pillow it makes! I love the thicker "bone" sides, as they keep my head in a straight position and prevent neck cramps.
Some people will say it's too soft, some people will say it's too hard since such things are a personal preference issue. But for me, this is a perfect little pillow. Customer Rating: Summary: Not firm enough - ok for a while Comment: Funny how some people thought the dog bones pillow is too hard. I think it's too soft! Since the raised sides get in the way for sleeping, I use mine when I'm in bed reading, to hold my head at just the right angle -- which it does -- but in no time I find my head sinking down as the pillow flattens. I'd definitely get another one if only there was a firmer model. Maybe they'll come up with different firmness choices. I'd hoped I could use it to relax my neck and shoulder muscles but there just isn't enough support.
