The Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow muffler is designed to produce a mellow, deep sound in most vehicle applications. It is milder than the 40 Series mufflers on the outside of the vehicle, and is significantly quieter inside the vehicle, yet it still has the right performance sound and feel which is achieved with the use of a special Resonant Tuning Chamber within the muffler. Performance is comparable to the 40 Series. Application recommendations: 409 Stainless steel; Street/strip vehicles; Early/late-model performance cars and street rods; Vehicles with dual exhaust; Milder interior and exterior tone than 40 Series. Customer Rating: Summary: Quiet performance mufflers Comment: These mufflers are great. They only give a slight rumble on a '88 5L T-bird. They are perfect if you do not want to be noticed. I will defiantly be using these on my 5.8 Mustang project.
