Customer Rating: Summary: Soak it in Comment: I wash the top with the cleaner, let dry, Mask windows with painters blue tape and newspapers, then I just spray to wet and even it out via a gloved hand. Have done this with 8 yo Camaro and 5 yo TT. The TT spent the entire winter outside a dealership. The roof still looks new.. I dont know how long the stuff lasts, whether 1 yr or more, i simply reapply yearly. I really dont know if I have to clean it. When its soaked in, dust and dirt get displaced by ragtopp and just needs to be brusshed off. Customer Rating: Summary: RaggTopp Comment: Excellent product. Two products, actually -- a cleaner and a protectant. Easy to use and effective. PaintWorld shipped more quickly than promised. A good experience all around. Customer Rating: Summary: Raggtop covertible top products Comment: Great product! I use it on my Z4 roadster which has a black fabric top. Easy to use cleaner and protectant. You will need a soft bristle brush for the cleaner. After cleaning make sure the top is dry then use three light coats of protectant. Make sure the top dries between coats. Mine lasted four months. Both times I masked off the top with tape & newspapers so I could get good coverage without being concerned about getting spray on the paint or windows. I was particularly carefull to get good coverage in the seams.
After a hard rain (this is Florida after all) I need to wear a water proof jacket, cover my legs with plastic film, move anything I don't want to get wet into the middle of the car and prepare to mop up the streams of water that come out of the side rails with towels. The water does not bead up on the surface.
I am going to try some seam sealer next and after that I guess a new top. The car is a 1997 Saab and the top looks fine - just leaks. Customer Rating: Summary: Good product. Comment: Product works great! Make sure you use it on a calm day (no wind). Mask your car for protection.
