Customer Rating: Summary: Not happy with this Comment: This thing was pure junk and a waste of money. It was almost impossible to stop the flow of gas before it overfills the tank of your mower. You had to have one hand ready to pinch the hose to stop the flow, but then there is gas in the hose and the tank is full so you spill it anyway. The internal parts of the 'pump' must have been affected by the gasoline because it stopped working before the end of the first mowing season. I recommend that you buy the pump and 5 gallon fuel container together, the pump will not work if your container does not have a separate air vent hole. (Most newer containers use a vent pipe in their integral nozzle -- the pump won't work with those containers. The fuel pump includes a small hook to hang the hose handle on when not in use. Remove the hook to get a fuel tight seal between pump and container. Considering the cost of shipping and the value of the pump, the manufacturer should consider a more sturdy container, but it's good enough. However, there was a problem...the gasket came loose inside the pump. I was able to fix the problem by disassembling the pump, correcting the problem and reassembling it. It seems to work fine now.
