Customer Rating: Summary: Not worth the money Comment: I wouldn't recommend this product. The device plugs don't stay in the sockets. I have had bad luck with this one and would not purchase it again. The previous one I bought from Radio Shack was better. Customer Rating: Summary: Makes my charger more useful! Comment: I recently purchase a GPS, and could no longer use my FM transmitter unless I wanted to charge my GPS at night (I drive a lot for work). This adapter allows me to have both plugged in at once without any difficulty.
Other reviewers mentioned that they had problems with the springs pushing out adapters, but I haven't had that problem at all! This actually works better than my car's plug, which often pushed out my other chargers. No more wiggling wires as I drive.
I also drive a stick and have no problems with the adapter getting in the way, although I was anticipating that I might, given the hefty size. I guess it depends on your car's set-up.
