I live in L.A., earthquake country. I mounted the holders into a stud and they've been holding my Mags at the ready for over five years. I remove them periodically to test and or use them. They lock in place very firmly. Mount the light lens down so dust won't collect on the lens. They don't slip out.

They are quite tight...watch your fingers when "snapping" your flashlight in place as they have a very strong "snap-over-center" pull.
