The book explains how a plumber lays out a system and discusses the most important relevant building codes. It turns out that a drain, waste, and vent system is more complicated than one might expect. This was the only plumbing book we found that gave enough details to help us understand the layout of all the hidden pipes in our house. These details helped us locate a leak in our drain system.
